When asked whether he considers the British Broadcasting Corporation is institutionally biased, the adviser responds: "No, I do not. To be clear, numerous aspects the BBC creates is world class - encompassing factual and entertainment programming."
But he adds: "There exists substantial tasks that needs to be done at the British Broadcasting Corporation."
Another ex-adviser BBC consultant interviewed by the panel, Caroline Daniel, remarks she views the BBC with great importance and that it has a "continuous process and lively discussion" on fluid and multifaceted issues.
"Was the BBC willing to engage in a proper discussion and debate and act accordingly?" she questions. "As I see it, yes they were."
