Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to address Ukrainian forces in the Pokrovsk area on Tuesday. The president confirmed that he engaged with fighters at the command post of the first unit of the state defense force Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya area, a town approximately 20km from the focal point.

Critical Circumstances in the Region

Recent mapping from a Ukrainian project indicated that opposition armies had made gains into the city and surrounding areas, though significant areas remained beyond firm control by any party.
